Preventive Screening

Inland Imaging offers a number of Preventive Screening procedures for the early detection of: Colon Cancer, Coronary Artery Disease, Lung Cancer, Breast Cancer and Prostate Cancer. These screenings are all performed by licensed practitioners in a caring, comfortable environment at one of our state-of-the-art facilities.

Colon Screening
Virtual colonoscopy: Colon cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in the U.S. Pain in your bowel, colon, or stomach could be caused by many conditions, including ulcers, diverticulitis, irritable bowel syndrome, intestinal obstruction or cancer.

Stroke and Vascular
Stroke and vascular disease affect thousands of Americans each year. A screening for these diseases can measure your risk and provide important information to help improve your vascular health and prevent life-threatening problems. The stroke and vascular screening at Inland Imaging includes a check of the three areas of your body that are most susceptible to signs of vascular disease: the abdominal aorta, the carotid arteries, and the peripheral arteries.

Heart Disease
A calcium scoring exam uses CT technology to screen for atherosclerosis and to evaluate your risk for heart disease. The exam measures the calcified plaque deposits on the artery and compares that measurement, or “score,” to normal ranges for your age and sex.

Lung Screening
Low-dose CT scan of the chest.

Breast Imaging
Screening Mammography

3T MRI Prostate Screening
The 3 Tesla (3T) MRI offers a non-invasive method designed to find small cancer cells in hard to reach places like your prostate. Using the 3T MRI nearly doubles the number of aggressive tumors that are caught. 3T MRI is so good at pinpointing the exact location of cancerous cells, your urologist will most likely have all the information he or she needs without requiring multiple biopsies.

Prostate Ultrasound
Ultrasound is a useful imaging tool in the study of the prostate. The exam may be performed to determine the volume of the prostate, to investigate elevated prostate-specific antigen (PSA) levels, or to guide a needle biopsy of the prostate.
