In early September, Inland Imaging installed our second new 3T MRI scanner. This one is located at our Northpointe Imaging Center to better serve providers and patients in North Spokane and the surrounding area.
What’s 3T you ask? An MRI’s magnetic field strength is measured in units known as Teslas. Named after the brilliant and some say, under-appreciated inventor, these units determine the resolution of an MRI’s images. The more Teslas, the better the scans.
Its powerful technology and wide-bore design means it’s bigger, faster, and produces images that are more vivid and detailed than its predecessors. Which makes your MRI visit a faster, more comfortable, and much less-stressful experience.
